Napoli Construction acted as a subcontractor to provide a 14,395sf retrofit, LEED certified roof to an existing pre-engineered metal building at Philadelphia University. The roof design was provided by Napoli Construction and coordinated with the existing roof structure. In this project, we furnished and installed new purlin supports welded to the existing main frame, and new purlins, bracing, 2 layers of insulation (R38), a Kynar finished standing seam roof, gutters, trim, fascia and soffit. We also provided the building with a new mechanical equipment screen and kept the building watertight for the duration of the install.
