Acting as a subcontractor for ConEdison Solutions, Napoli Construction furnished and installed 651 new energy efficient windows in 37 different, occupied housing units. Project requirements included E-Verification of all employees, submitting approved safety and quality control plans, monitoring the construction with an Army Corps of Engineer certified quality control manager and OSHA certified safety manager and coordinating the products and materials for approval by both the USCG and ConEdison Solutions. The project consisted of protecting resident furnishings, removal of existing windows, reinforcing existing subframes, replacing rotted material, installing new windows and trim, caulking, painting and final clean. We completed one unit per day for minimal impact to residents. Because of our performance, we were contracted for additional restoration work at the housing units.
